Giada Negri’s artistic journey began long before her professional career. It started in childhood, with a pencil in her hand and an imagination that transformed everyday life into extraordinary worlds.
Born on the shores of Lake Como, Italy, she has been drawing for as long as she can remember. From an early age, she imagined secret worlds where reality and imagination naturally intertwined. Those early visions continue to shape her artistic practice today.
After graduating, Giada began her career as a photographer, collaborating with publishing houses as well as national and international magazines. In 2009, she expanded her practice into illustration, beginning a journey to unite the expressive power of photography with the limitless possibilities of imagination.
Over the years, her work has been featured in books, magazines, and exhibitions, and she has collaborated with organisations including UNICEF, Save the Children, and the WWF. Her artworks have been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Italy and France.
In recognition of her artistic research, the City of Antibes awarded her an artist residency at Villa Fontaine, where she continued to develop the poetic visual language that defines her work today.

Today, Giada Negri continues to create original artworks, limited editions, and bespoke portrait commissions while exhibiting internationally.
Her latest exhibition, In Tempore Sideris, presented at Les Casemates de la Création in Antibes, reflects her ongoing exploration of poetic realism, memory, and imagination, inviting visitors into a world where every image becomes a story.
